Juliette Denise Weston, age 89 of Centerville, Iowa died on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born on February 9, 1923 in Mystic, Iowa the daughter of Elie Frank and Adele (Beguin) Coster. She received her education at the Mystic Community Schools.
On May 18, 1946, Juliette was united in marriage to Otis Delbert Weston in Kansas City, Kansas. She worked for a time at the Ralston Purina in Davenport, Iowa. She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and the VFW Auxiliary both in Centerville. She was known as the "Quilt Lady" for her love of quilting. She made hundreds of quilt to share with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Otis Delbert Weston in 1978; and a brother, Alfred Coster
Juliette is survived by: her son, James Weston and his wife, Debra of Eldridge, Iowa; two grandchildren, James Weston and his wife, Wendy of Davenport, Iowa and Sara Hazle and her husband, Jason of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three great grandchildren, Jasmyn and Shayla Dennis and Lauryn Weston all of Davenport, Iowa.
A Graveside Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Elgin Cemetery north of Mystic, Iowa with President, Robert White of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints presiding. Interment will follow in the Elgin Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and left or mailed to the funeral home. The family would like friends to meet at the funeral home for a procession to the Cemetery.
